Worth a look – Renfrewshire Council have published a consultation on the Review of Advice Services in Renfrewshire:

http://www.renfrewshire.gov.uk/webcontent/home/services/social+care+and+health/benefits+and+debt+advice/ce-spotlight-adviceservicessurvey

They are reviewing the advice services they deliver and fund, within the context of increasing demand for advice services, economic downturn and the impact of welfare reform. The Advice Services Consultation concerns services which give advice on benefits, debt, money, budgeting, and fuel poverty – and asks for your views on issues relating to future delivery of advice services, access to advice services, managing demand for advice, and the role of the Council in delivering financial inclusion advice. The Consultation is open until the 25 March 2013, and they will be using the consultation feedback to inform the options for the future of advice services delivered and funded by Renfrewshire Council. Fill it in and take part please…

Did I say it was St. David’s day? Well it’s also my good friend (and legendary volunteer) Magi McCulloch’s birthday today – happy birthday Magi. If you click the link below you’ll see her standing next to Cllr Kelly – she’s the one with the moustache…
