Look at that sky, life’s begun. Nights are warm and the days are young…

So. Over 70 folks turned up for our AGM the other evening in Renfrew Town Hall. It was great to get together with friend and colleagues and look back at the year. Easy to forget to take the time sometime to look back and invariably there’ll be something you wished you did differently – but – heh! – you can’t change yesterday. You can of course ruin today by worrying about tomorrow.

The evening got off to a flyer – literally – with a group from Renfrew YMCA making a quick exit to go go-karting courtesy of ‘The Experience’ – thanks go to the staff there for supporting us and looking after the young team so well!

We had a great panel of speakers including the Scottish Football Association, Renfrewshire Access Panel, West College Scotland, Prince’s Trust, and Shelter Scotland.

Our Chair also passed on his congrats to a number of volunteers who have made a great impact at Engage – my own thanks go to them also.

We ended the evening by premiering a new video produced with the support of ‘Create’ – ‘Volunteering is for everyone’ click the link below – it’s well worth a look!

So here’s to next year!

All the best
